A native Texan who graduated from Houston’s Stratford High School, and then Texas A&M Corpus Christi with a BBA in Finance, Cal spent a large part of his professional career in financial services ranging from Frost Bank to Merrill Lynch International Private Bank in London. It was upon his move back to Texas in 2009, after 10 years in the UK, that he determined to pursue a career in the renewable energy field, and co-founded Natural Energy Wind & Solar from his home in north Texas. Cal moved back to Houston in 2012, and shortly afterwards joined the team at Texas Solar Outfitters. From the start, his experience in communicating the various measures of investment return was greatly appreciated – and after six years in the business, it now appears he knows a thing or two regarding generating power from the sun 🙂
Walker, a native Houstonian, started out as a client of Texas Solar Outfitters when he hired us to install solar on his new home. We eventually lured him away from the software company he was running, so that he could “save the world one rooftop at a time.” Walker has a diverse background in engineering, architecture, construction, and computer software which gives him a great perspective for assisting customers of all types to better understand how solar systems can work for them. His technical sales experience, combined with his strong belief in leaving the world better than he found it, has proven to be a great asset for helping customers understand why solar is not only a good investment, but also makes a difference. When not selling solar systems, he enjoys taking his kids to play in a nearby park or just hanging out at home. Walker serves on a couple non-profit boards and is very active in his church.

In his spare time, Marshall is an active member of Houston area Rotary. He also enjoys soccer, guitar and Aikido (a martial art that resolves conflict without causing harm).
